Appliance Store — Sales & Operations

Appliances 4 Less helps families save money on quality appliances — new, open-box, and scratch-and-dent units from GE, Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, Frigidaire, and more. We're a growing, family-owned company looking for a hands-on Store Manager and Team to run our Waco location.

This is not a sit-in-the-office job. Our team is small, so everyone — including the manager — does a bit of everything: selling, testing and prepping appliances, basic repairs, tracking inventory, and coordinating deliveries. The manager stays on top of it all, leads by example, and keeps the store running day to day.

We're looking for a self-starter who takes ownership. If you like being the most capable, most reliable person in the building — and building a team around you — we want to talk.

What you'll do

• Run daily store operations and report directly to the owner on sales, inventory, and performance
• Sell on the floor and lead the team's selling; help customers choose the right appliance for their budget
• Respond fast to Facebook Marketplace, Messenger, phone, and online inquiries; follow up and close
• Maximize add-ons: extended warranties and financing/leasing (Snap, Acima)
• Test, clean, and prep appliances; perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs (training provided)
• Track inventory accurately; manage receiving, merchandising, pricing, and deliveries
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a small, versatile team — and hold it to a high standard

What you bring

• Experience in big-ticket retail sales or management — appliances, furniture, mattresses, home improvement, auto/RV/powersports, or rent-to-own (these skills transfer directly)
• A hands-on, take-ownership attitude and genuine self-motivation
• Leadership and coaching ability — a track record of improving a team's performance sets you apart
• Strong customer service, sales, and closing skills
• Comfort with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, POS, and Facebook Marketplace
• Reliable transportation; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; weekend availability

Strongly preferred (moves you to the top)

• Direct appliance sales or repair experience and knowledge of major brands
• Experience managing inventory, deliveries, and showroom operations
• Product training is provided — but knowing appliances already is a real advantage
