Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in Waco, TX, and willing to travel to Temple. The Sales Representative will manage and grow a portfolio of off-premise accounts, to increase distribution and sales of craft beer, wine, and spirits. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting assigned accounts, presenting product offerings, securing new placements, and executing promotional programs. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels, submitting orders, tracking sales performance, and resolving customer issues in a timely manner. The Sales Representative will collaborate with the sales and marketing teams, maintain accurate records in CRM or sales tools, and stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and brand updates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles, preferably in beverage, consumer packaged goods, or related industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to present products and value propositions clearly.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including route planning, territory management, and attention to detail in reporting.
- Comfort working in the field, including frequent travel within the assigned territory and the ability to lift and move cases as needed.
- Knowledge of or interest in craft beer, wine, and spirits, with a willingness to learn product details and industry regulations.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or sales applications) for order entry and account documentation.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to responsible alcohol sales practices and regulatory compliance.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to meet any applicable state alcohol permitting requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
