What you will do

• Creation of news articles, press releases, and social media posts for science communication
• Development and implementation of content management, regular formats: e.g., introducing our researchers, promoting events, raising awareness of awards
• Community management: increasing engagement with our followers, trend analysis in science communication
• Evaluation and optimization of social media activities
• Video editing, motion design for infographics, etc.

What you bring to the table

• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to present complex scientific content in a clear and audience-appropriate manner
• Experience in content management, particularly in the development and implementation of regular content formats
• Expertise in community management: an eye for trends in science communication and the ability to boost interaction and engagement on social media
• Analytical skills for evaluating and optimizing social media activities, including the use of monitoring and analysis tools
• Creativity and technical understanding of video editing and motion design, particularly for the creation of infographics and visual content
• Proficiency with digital tools and platforms, a structured approach to work, and an understanding of target audiences and communication goals in science communication are advantageous

The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.

The weekly working time is up to 20 hours.
