Global Filtration, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Director of Finance & Accounting to lead financial operations, strengthen controls and turn accurate data into better business decisions. This is not a passive reporting role. The person we hire will own the integrity, timeliness and usefulness of the company’s financial information while helping leadership scale a founder-built aerospace filtration manufacturer from approximately $3.5 million in annual revenue toward a five-year goal of $20 million. The right leader can move comfortably between strategy and execution: reviewing cash and receivables in the morning, correcting a costing or reconciliation issue in the afternoon, and presenting a clear forecast and recommended action to the CEO. This role is ideal for an experienced manufacturing controller or finance director who enjoys building disciplined systems inside a growing company.

What you will own • Financial reporting & close. Own the general ledger, account reconciliations, month-end and year end close, and timely GAAP-based financial statements. Establish a disciplined close calendar and deliver a reliable executive reporting package. • Cash flow & working capital. Maintain a rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast; monitor daily liquidity; improve collections, payables timing and inventory turns; and give leadership early warning of risks and decisions. • Planning & analysis. Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, scenario modeling and financial support for pricing, hiring, capital purchases and growth initiatives. • Manufacturing costing & margin. Strengthen product and job costing, inventory valuation, cost-of goods-sold accuracy, overhead allocation and gross-margin reporting by product, customer and channel.

Accounting operations. Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, collections, payroll coordination, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, expense controls and financial record retention. • Internal controls & compliance. Design practical controls, approval limits, segregation of duties and documented finance SOPs. Coordinate tax filings, external accounting support, banking, insurance, audits or reviews, and other compliance requirements. • ERP & data discipline. Help lead the company’s migration from legacy accounting processes into a scalable ERP environment, including chart-of-accounts design, clean master data, reporting, workflows and user accountability. • Leadership. Build, coach and hold accountable the accounting function; partner closely with the CEO, general management, sales, purchasing, warehouse, inventory, quality and manufacturing teams. What success looks like • Monthly financial statements are accurate, reconciled and delivered by the agreed close deadline. • Leadership receives a concise weekly cash, collections and financial-risk report plus a useful monthly finance package. • Inventory, cost of goods sold and product margins can be trusted for pricing and operating decisions. • The company operates from one clearly documented budget, forecast and KPI scorecard. • Accounting processes are controlled, repeatable, auditable and no longer dependent on one person’s memory. • ERP and reporting improvements give every department one reliable version of financial truth. Required qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a closely related field. • Seven or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including ownership of month-end close and financial statements. • At least three years of relevant manufacturing, distribution or product-based accounting experience. • Strong command of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, inventory and cost accounting. • Demonstrated ability to investigate discrepancies personally, improve a process and ensure the correction stays in place. • Advanced Excel skills and practical experience with accounting or ERP systems. • Clear executive communication, sound judgment, discretion and the ability to translate financial data into recommended action. • Ability to work full-time on-site at Global Filtration’s Waco facility. Preferred qualifications • CPA or CMA credential. • Experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, industrial manufacturing or another regulated product environment. • Experience with ERP selection, migration or implementation; BOMs; standard costing; and inventory-cycle-count programs.

Experience supporting lender reporting, external audits or reviews, multi-location consolidation, or government-contract accounting. • Prior responsibility for developing or supervising accounting staff. Compensation, schedule & location Recommended base salary: $89,200 - $110,500 annually, based on qualifications and directly relevant experience. This is a full-time, exempt, on-site position at 1200 Mary Avenue, Waco, Texas 76701.
