Job Title: Specialist Systems Engineer

Job Location: Waco, TX On-Site

Schedule: 9/80 Regular: Off every other Friday, 1st Shift Work as part of a development team in the Systems Engineering department which includes support of requirement development, design and architecture generation, test, integration, and certification of complex systems installed on airborne platforms. Design and develop physical architectures incorporating mission system equipment into airborne systems for military and commercial customers. This requires a baseline understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.

Translate customer and airworthiness requirements into unique verifiable system level requirements

Become a focal point for conversation with the customer on technical issues

Perform the systems engineering trade study process

Prepare effective presentations to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical professionals

Ability to use standard Microsoft Office suite of applications

Ability to operate within a Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM); Minimum of 4 years of Systems engineering experience with requirements and systems documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Software, Physics, etc.) and a minimum of 4 years related work experience, or

Graduate Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Software, Physics, etc.) Minimum of 8 years of prior work experi
