Marine Technician – Full-Time

Location: Robinson/Waco, TX

Marineland Boating Center in Waco is seeking an Experienced Marine Technician to join our team immediately. We are a certified repair facility for Yamaha, Mercury, MerCruiser, Evinrude, and Volvo motor lines, and we proudly offer a full lineup of fishing, ski, and pontoon boats, along with a variety of watercraft.

About the Role

As a Marine Technician, you will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of boats and motors. You will also assist with rigging—installing accessories and equipment on new and pre-owned boats. Additional responsibilities may include repairs to trailers and water vehicles as needed.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and being part of a team that supports the outdoor recreation lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair marine engines and systems

• Perform routine maintenance and service on multiple motor lines

• Rig and equip boats with accessories and electronics

• Conduct quality inspections to ensure all work meets safety and performance standards

• Assist with general repairs on boats, motors, trailers, and watercraft

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude (marine or automotive)

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools

• Ability to back a trailer

• Commitment to producing high-quality work

• Willingness to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment

• Mechanical experience: 1 year preferred

• English language proficiency preferred

• Ability to commute to Robinson, TX 76706
