Summary

We are seeking a passionate hands-on Director of Dining Services to join our team at The Blake. This role requires ServSafe certification. Located in a vibrant community, this role is crucial in ensuring that our dining services meet the highest standards of quality and satisfaction for our residents. You will play a key role in promoting health and wellness through exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all dining operations to ensure high-quality food service and resident satisfaction.
• Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of residents.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Control inventory and manage food costs effectively.
• Foster a positive dining atmosphere through excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
• Implement training programs for staff development in culinary skills.
• Qualifications
• Excellent cook experienced in using herbs & spices to tantalize taste buds
• Proven experience in food service management or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience with budgeting and inventory management.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction.
• Ability to maintain diverse menus and recipes that cater to various dietary needs.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
