Media Content Creation Specialist

We are looking for a creative, versatile storyteller who wants to bridge the gap between traditional print and modern digital platforms to tell the Waco ISD story authentically. In this fast-paced, high-energy environment, no two days are the same. Our team works hard to meet deadlines, but we also believe in having fun while doing meaningful work.

What You'll Do

• Highlight Student & Staff Success: Brainstorm and execute stories aligned with strategic campaigns that spotlight achievements across the district.
• Capture the Moments: Serve as one of the district photographers to capture high-quality photos at campus and district events.
• Engage Our Community: Draft content and manage engaging posts on Facebook, Instagram, and X.
• Website Management: Maintain updated, accessible webpages.
• Media Engagement: Assist with media inquiries when needed.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience (internship experience is highly valued!).
• An agile team player who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and brings a proactive, positive attitude.
