Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
  • Obtain and document patient histories and vital signs accurately.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and submit specimens for lab analysis as needed.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
  • Educate patients on medication, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient records efficiently.
Requirements
  • Must be a Certified Medical Assistant with current certification.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
