Inside Sales Rep
EntegeeInside Sales Representative manages key customer accounts, quotations, order processing, inventory coordination, and account support to maintain and grow sales within an established customer base.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an inside sales and/or customer service environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, intranet, and internet usage
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience handling a high volume of customer interactions
- Experience preparing customer quotes for price and delivery by phone, fax, or email
- Experience managing order entry, stock management, and purchase requirements for customer accounts
- Experience maintaining paper and digital department records and files
Preferred Skills
- College degree from an accredited institution
- Experience working in a fast-paced metals, distribution, or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of SAP
- Experience with program management of key strategic accounts
- Experience coordinating with outside sales and management
- Experience obtaining vendor quotes for material and outside processing
- Experience with sales order and purchase order entry
- Experience supporting forecasting for revenue and gross profit
Job Responsibilities
- Provide support to an established customer base, including program management of key strategic accounts
- Manage a high volume of customer interactions
- Prepare customer quotes for price and delivery by phone, fax, or email
- Manage all aspects of order entry, stock management, and purchase requirements for key customers
- Review daily status of key account orders, stocking levels, and reorder points
- Assist with forecasting revenue and gross profit for customer accounts
- Determine correct material based on customer requirements
- Obtain quotes from vendors for material and outside processing
- Enter sales orders and purchase orders
- Assume responsibility for key house accounts
- Coordinate with outside sales and management to share information and feedback
- Follow up and communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery
- Initiate and follow up on customer returns, credits, complaints, and other account issues
- Maintain paper and digital records and files for the department
- Periodically visit customers to support account management and business development
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
