Broadcast Production Assistant (Part-Time)**

**Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated part-time Broadcast Production Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our production crew, you will be responsible for supporting the production of live and recorded broadcasts.   • Compose and frame camera shots, applying technical aspects of light, lenses, and camera settings to achieve desired effects
  • Adjust positions and controls of cameras to change focus, exposure, and lighting as requested by the director
  • Operate studio cameras during live broadcasts
  • Operate remote cameras during live broadcasts
  • Confer with directors and other crew members to discuss sequences, desired effects, camera movements, and lighting requirements
  • Set up cameras and related equipment
  • Test, clean, maintain, and repair camera equipment
  • Produce graphics for newscast
  • Create graphics for the newscast
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • *Qualifications:**
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Part-time schedule with approximately 29 hours per week, including weekends and holidays
  • Job is contingent on successful background and MVR check results
