Athletics Event Management and Facilities Student Worker

**Overview:**

As an Athletics Event Management and Facilities Student Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Baylor University's athletic facilities, including Baylor Ballpark, McLane Stadium, Ferrell Center, and Foster Pavilion. This is a part-time position that requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and Tuesday evenings. **Responsibilities:**

• Assist with game-day operations and regular maintenance tasks at various athletic facilities
• Ensure safety procedures and precautions are followed to prevent accidents and injuries
• Assist with inventory management and scheduling of repairs for equipment
• Participate in various projects, activities, or tasks related to facility services, with a focus on baseball and football events
• Maintain records of maintenance or inventory and partner with other facilities staff to ensure seamless facility operations
• Assist with setup and breakdown of meetings, events, or other activities
• Troubleshoot venue equipment and help maintain the internal and exterior appearance of facilities
• Assist with facility security, including securing doors, security cameras, and building access
• Perform other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
• *Qualifications:**
• Currently enrolled as a student at Baylor University
• Ability to work 20 hours per week, including weekends and Tuesday evenings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols
