Senior Backend Software Engineer - Servicing Technology

What You'll Do

• Work closely with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.
• Stay ahead of tech trends, experiment with new technologies, engage in technology communities, and mentor fellow engineers.
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver impactful cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially.
• Leverage programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node.js, Go, and Scala, as well as Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not count).

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud services including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• 3+ years of experience working with open source frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience practicing Agile methodologies.

The competitive annual salary for this position ranges based on location and is reflective of the current market. For example, in Plano, TX, the salary ranges from $144,200 to $164,600 for a Senior Software Engineer.

This role is also eligible for performance-based incentives, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
