Overview

Electrolit Manufacturing USA (EMUSA) is a new, state-of-the-art beverage manufacturing facility in Waco, TX. The 640,000 sqft. Facility is situated in the Texas Central Industrial Park and will be operating on a 24/7 schedule. The facility will manufacture and distribute the 26 flavors of Electrolit™ - the fastest growing isotonic hydration beverage in the US.

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of Industrial Engineer will be to lead our process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation. This role will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements that drive operational efficiency, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC problem-solving, and KPI development/tracking, with the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve measurable results. This position will be working with sensitive information therefore it will require an NDA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.
  • Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and 5S implementation.
  • Apply DMAIC methodology to identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and sustain improvements.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance and track improvement progress.
  • Partner with production, quality, and maintenance teams to implement standardized work processes.
  • Lead costreduction projects without compromising product quality or safety.
  • Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning.
  • Utilize statistical analysis tools to drive databased decisionmaking.
  • Provide training and coaching to team members on Lean and continuous improvement principles.
  • Support new product introductions and process validation activities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

JOB EFFICIENCY MEASURES

Job performance will be assessed using measurable metrics, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Production output and throughput targets.
  • Accuracy and quality rates.
  • Adherence to safety, regulatory, and compliance standards.
  • Equipment uptime, utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Ontime completion and schedule adherence.
  • Participation in and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, SMED, Kanban, VSM) and Six Sigma/DMAIC methodology.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping.
  • Experience developing and managing KPIs in a production setting.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with a handson approach.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP/MES systems preferred.
  • Fluency in English required, Spanish a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is performed primarily in a manufacturing and production environment within a beverage manufacturing facility. The work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, automated and manual production equipment, wet or humid conditions, temperature variations, and moderate to high noise levels. Employees may be required to work on elevated work surfaces, platforms, ladders, or stairs, and in or around confined or restricted spaces in accordance with applicable safety procedures and training. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and must be worn at all times while on the production floor or in designated work areas, in accordance with OSHA standards and company safety policies. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, balance, push, pull, and use hands and arms to operate machinery, tools, and equipment. The role involves repetitive motions, sustained physical activity, and maintaining situational awareness in a dynamic production environment. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance. Work schedules may include extended shifts, overtime, weekends, and/or holidays based on production demands.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
