Sanitation Team Lead (10:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Tuesday - Saturday)

Job Summary

This position is responsible for safely leading and working with the sanitation team to ensure production area sanitation is completed efficiently and effectively.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the sanitation team by following all safety procedures to avoid accidents; use appropriate safety equipment when required; use lockout/tag out procedures when required.
  • Comply with all safety requirements and GMPs.
  • Oversee and lead the sanitation crew to ensure equipment sanitation standards are being met.
  • Assist in employee training on cleaning equipment and procedures, chemical handling procedures, GMP and SSOP procedures, and all safety procedures.
  • Complete all daily paperwork required (i.e. SOPs, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

· Must be 25 years +

· Must have reliable transportation.

· Detail-oriented.

· Bilingual – Spanish a plus.

· Able to follow verbal and written communication skills.

· Able to work as a team player and ability to work independently.

· Time management skills.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Tuesday through Saturday 10:30 pm - 6:30 am. May be required to work overtime. *

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Must be able to operate and use all necessary equipment.

Education & Experience

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experience preferred but not require.

· 1+ years of food plant sanitation experience.
