Engineering Senior Manager

**Overview:**

As an Engineering Senior Manager at Graphic Packaging International, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering and project needs of our mill, ensuring alignment with business, cultural, financial, and operational goals. You will be part of a collaborative, diverse, and innovative team that creates inspired packaging while giving back to our communities. **Responsibilities:**

  • Be responsible for the overall engineering and project needs for the mill
  • Support and align engineering objectives with business, cultural, financial, and operational goals
  • Manage day-to-day engineering operations for mill operation
  • Perform engineering duties, including designing processes or systems to improve operating efficiency
  • Keep senior management and mill department managers apprised of engineering situations affecting the mill
  • Utilize SAP for capital project tracking, spending, purchasing, and new equipment BOM development
  • Develop and edit capital expenditure requests, submit, and track to approval
  • Participate in machine outage planning meetings and assist with required maintenance task supervision
  • Manage the mill's fixed asset register in collaboration with the finance department
  • Manage the mill's capital budget, including local project management and capital spares plan
  • Participate in meetings and initiatives relating to continuous improvement, safety, environmental development, and stewardship, work order scheduling, and month-end review of mill KPI Performance scorecard
  • *Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field
  • Ten years of experience in key maintenance or engineering roles in heavy manufacturing environments
  • Eight years of experience in maintenance and operations management, including experience managing salaried and hourly employees in an industrial environment
  • Five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Up to 10% national travel required
  • Must have legal authority to work in the U.S.
