BILINGUAL DIGITAL CONTENT PRODUCER/MMJ - GDM (Waco, TX - KWTX)

About the position

Responsibilities

• Generate Texas-based news content in Spanish for Telemundo digital and broadcast platforms.
• Respond to local and national news coverage in real-time.
• Produce on-air news reports as a multi-media journalist for weeknight Telemundo newscasts.
• Collaborate with the Spanish Digital Content Center to distribute content to Spanish stations' websites.
• Demonstrate strong writing and copy-editing skills in both Spanish and English.
• Meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or a related field.
• 2 years of media-related experience or comparable work experience.
• Strong writing and organizational skills in both Spanish and English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in digital content production.
• Familiarity with AP Style guidelines.
• Knowledge of local Hispanic community issues.
