Marketing Coordinator - Full-time

Position Overview
Location: Corporate 1700 S New Rd - Waco, TX.
Position: Full Time.
Education Level: High School.
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly.
The Marketing Coordinator supports the marketing initiatives of Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries by assisting with event coordination, retail branding efforts, mission-related community events, and general departmental activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of marketing campaigns by providing hands-on logistical support such as preparing and delivering signage, promotional materials, and supplies to Goodwill stores and community partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about supporting Goodwill’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event coordination and execute marketing campaigns.
- Support retail branding efforts and mission-related community events.
- Provide hands-on logistical support, including preparing and delivering signage, promotional materials, and supplies.
- Assist in planning and preparation for major fundraising events.
- Coordinate materials for mission services events and help maintain organized marketing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a drug screen, criminal background check, and driver’s license check; valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High standards of ethics and integrity.
- Enthusiasm for Goodwill’s mission.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in marketing, event planning, or administrative support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience using Canva.
