The Coordinator of Marketing & Digital Media at Marlin ISD plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Communications & Marketing by providing leadership and expertise in managing the district's comprehensive marketing and communications strategy. This position is instrumental in delivering professional and effective communications that bolster the district's brand identity and foster positive engagement through well-planned marketing campaigns and branded events. The individual in this role will oversee a variety of marketing tools, ranging from digital and social media to traditional mediums such as print, radio, and television. Their work will support the district's goals by creating compelling content, leveraging storytelling, photography, and video production to promote Marlin ISD's educational offerings.

This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can plan and execute experiential marketing events designed to increase student enrollment and build community awareness. The Coordinator will serve as a project manager, supervising collaborative campaigns and ensuring the effective deployment of marketing initiatives. Coordination and execution of special events organized for the district and its Partners in Education program also fall under the purview of this position. The Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director of Communications & Marketing to guide team members, oversee promotional materials, and participate in communications with district officials.

The ideal candidate should have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. They must be adept at collaborating with various stakeholders, from staff and community members to media personnel, ensuring all published content is high quality, relevant, and engaging. As a key representative of Marlin ISD, the Coordinator may also act as the district spokesperson when necessary, maintaining confidentiality regarding district matters at all times.

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Three to five years of professional experience in marketing and communications
• School marketing and communications experience preferred
• Understanding of brand marketing
• Experience with digital, web-based and social media marketing
• Knowledge of traditional marketing including print, radio and television
• Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills
• Experience in storytelling, photography and video production
• Strong presentation and event management skills
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
