Director of Sales/Sales Manager

About the Role

Sandpiper Hospitality is seeking a results-driven Director of Sales to lead the revenue growth and business development efforts for our EVERHOME SUITES WACO location.. This leadership role is responsible for soliciting group business, managing strategic marketing initiatives, and ensuring the hotel consistently meets or exceeds revenue goals.

Core Responsibilities

• Business Development: Actively solicit new and existing accounts through telephone outreach, outside sales calls, and site inspections.
• Strategic Leadership: Provide the strategic vision for maximum sales generation and optimal profit growth.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and leverage external and internal relationships to enhance market awareness and drive business.
• Market Analysis: Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, local competition, and customer requirements to propose effective tactics and solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with property leadership to activate market-specific opportunities and capture new business.
• Operational Excellence: Lead the Business Transient RFP process and participate in daily business review and training meetings.

Professional Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years in a management or leadership role, with a strong preference for 3–4 years specifically within hospitality sales. Experience in the extended stay market is highly preferred.
• Education: An undergraduate degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals, increasing revenue, and pitching for new business.
• Skills: Exceptional negotiation, verbal and written communication, and conflict management skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to analyze business periodicals and professional journals, with intermediate computer skills.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

• Travel: Occasional travel required (less than 20%).
• Schedule: Full-time, exempt position.
