Field Sales Specialist
Trugreen
As a TruGreen Field Sales Specialist, you'll be the welcoming face in neighborhoods, meeting homeowners face-to-face and introducing them to the advantages of personalized lawn care solutions. Armed with expertise, enthusiasm, and a commitment to TruGreen's established Sales Playbook, you'll provide customized services directly at their doorsteps, transforming casual interactions into lasting customer relationships.
What You'll Do - You will represent TruGreen, engaging with homeowners one-on-one to understand their needs and deliver tailored lawn care solutions that foster trust and satisfaction. Each day is a chance to connect, inform, and earn their business.
- Engage with new and existing customers through door-to-door outreach, showcasing professionalism, energy, and positivity.
- Customize sales messaging to align with the unique lawn care needs of each household, recognizing that every yard (and customer) is different.
- Convert inquiries into sales using a proven sales methodology and structured processes.
- Log interactions and track performance using a CRM system to measure activity and progress—because results matter, and so does follow-up.
- Cross-sell and upsell effectively by demonstrating expertise and showing customers how to enhance their lawns.
What You'll Bring - You don't need to be an expert in landscaping to succeed; just a strong motivation to excel and great people skills to make each doorstep feel welcoming.
- High school diploma or GED is required (a passion for people is highly valued).
- Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus, but your passion and hustle matter even more.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliability and road-readiness are crucial.
- Excellent communication skills, whether engaging in small talk or closing a sale, allowing for smart and sincere interactions.
- Strong time management abilities and a self-starter mindset; you prefer to take initiative rather than waiting for direction.
- Comfortable with technology and mobile devices; you only need to use them effectively.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds while working outdoors.
Perks & Benefits - We believe outstanding work deserves exceptional rewards, and we're not just referring to immaculate yards.
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions, with earning potential rising with every sale and satisfied homeowner.
- Average income ranges from $875 to $1,200 per week (based on an annual salary plus average commissions for qualifying representatives).
- Paid training and continuous development; we don't just hire—we invest in our team. You'll receive the tools and coaching needed for rapid advancement.
- Career advancement opportunities are available; we recognize and reward hard work. Your performance and quality can lead to a long-term career.
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and more; you take care of our customers, and we take care of you.
- A supportive team culture that celebrates successes, shares encouragement, and enjoys coming to work.
- Outdoor office benefits—enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and views of beautifully maintained landscapes instead of fluorescent lighting.
Ready to Join Us? If you're excited to grow your career while helping others achieve greener, more beautiful outdoor spaces, it's time to take the next step. Apply now, and let's cultivate greatness together.
Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English is required.
