TrugreenAs an Outdoor Sales Consultant for TruGreen, you will be the friendly face in the neighborhood, engaging with homeowners directly to showcase the advantages of personalized lawn care solutions. With your enthusiasm and dedication, supported by TruGreen's proven Sales Playbook, you'll deliver tailored services right at their doors, converting casual conversations into valuable customer relationships.
Your Responsibilities - You will embody TruGreen's image, connecting with homeowners face-to-face to recognize their needs and offer personalized lawn care solutions that foster trust and satisfaction. Each day presents a chance to interact, educate, and win their business.
- Engage with new and existing customers through door-to-door outreach, demonstrating professionalism, energy, and positivity.
- Tailor sales messages to fit the unique lawn care needs of each household because every yard (and customer) is different.
- Convert inquiries into signed agreements using a proven sales methodology and processes.
- Record interactions and assess performance using a CRM, understanding the importance of tracking success and following up.
- Cross-sell and upsell with precision, using your expertise to demonstrate to customers how they can enhance their lawns.
What You Will Bring - You don't need to be a lawn care expert to excel here, just the enthusiasm to succeed and strong interpersonal skills to connect with potential clients.
- High school diploma or GED required (a PhD in People Skills is a plus).
- Previous sales or customer service experience is advantageous, but your passion and hustle are what matter most.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as reliability is key.
- Effective communication skills, capable of engaging in both light conversation and closing deals, maintaining sincerity and intelligence.
- Strong time management abilities and a self-starting attitude; you prefer autonomy over direct supervision.
- Comfort with technology and mobile devices—your role involves integrating tech into daily tasks.
- Physical capability to walk, stand, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds while working outdoors.
